Open Water


The PADI Open Water Diver course is your introduction to the underwater realm. On completion of this course your certification will enable you to dive anywhere in the world. The course is performance based and commences with five academic and five confined water (swimming pool) modules. These modules which are taken by a PADI Instructor are designed to teach you the basics of scuba diving. Once you have demonstrated to the Instructor that you are competent in your knowledge development and confined water skills you will then move on to your open water dives. This part of the course is conducted over a minimum of two days and will consist of four open water dives here you will perform certain skills that you learnt and demonstrated in the confined water sessions.
